The French Institute of International Relations organizes a conference, “The Role of Élites in East-Central Europe in winning the Cold War and building a new Geopolitics”, largely devoted to Giedroyc and Kultura. The Kultura Literary Institute Association is set up to safeguard the Institute’s heritage – at its head are Jerzy Giedroyc, Zofia Hertz, and Henryk Giedroyc.

The Kultura Archive series publishes the collected correspondence between Jerzy Giedroyc and Juliusz Mieroszewski from 1949 to 1956. A web page for the Institute is set up on Onet.pl.
